Live Music…Sunset Skies…Waterfront Vibes!

This is one of the reasons I still miss living in the Harbor even though it has been well over 5 years since I had to move back to the VA side of the river. Anyone who has been reading this column for very long knows how much I love the Wheel and the Carousel that grace the waterfront and how much I loved that I could walk to them both. I really got spoiled in those days. Today, I take advantage of the parking garages and always find a spot when I visit. Unfortunately, these concerts weren’t a “thing” until last summer so I haven’t been able to attend like I would if they had been. Still, I am looking forward to getting to a few more this season.

Thanks to my friends at the wheel, the details are below:

The Capital Wheel and Flight Deck waterfront lounge & bar at National Harbor invites you to “Revolution on the Rocks,” a free live music series taking place every Saturday evening through August 29th.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of a sunset over the Potomac River, Flight Deck, right next to The Capital Wheel, transforms into the ultimate weekend destination. Guests can enjoy:
