Oreo
The shelter staff would love to introduce to everyone, Oreo! Oreo enjoys long walks, playing outside with her dog friends and lounging with her human friends at the end of a long day. She is the perfect mix of laid back and energetic. She is perfectly content hanging on the couch to watch a movie or running in the yard for some play time. She would do best in a home without small children because she doesn’t enjoy sharing her toys or food. She enjoys playing with her dog friends and has enjoyed play group here at the AWLA. Piper
This beautiful girl is named Piper! Piper came to the AWLA as a stray back in January and is waiting to find her purrfect home. She has stolen the hearts of many volunteers here at the shelter and we recently discovered that Piper just LOVES to play with laser pointers! Seeing this little lady run after the laser is quite adorable! She loves it so much that we even have a laser pointer kept at her cage so that volunteers and visitors can have some play time with Piper. Piper’s ideal home would be a quiet one with either no children or older children. We are not sure if she gets along well with other animals but we can always offer guidance on how to do a proper introduction between a kitty and another animal. If you are looking for a furry diva to call your own, come down and pay Piper a visit!
