Protect and Defend Your Next Move

According to the US Census roughly thirteen percent of Americans move each year.  Some relocate for more space, some for location; I would imagine that very few people move for enjoyment.  When was the last time you heard someone say they were moving just for fun?  Moving is a reminder to most of us that we are either unorganized or - ed, or if you are like me - an organized mess!  Against my better judgment, I moved every year of college.  After all of that moving you would think I am an expert.  Sadly, after many broken picture frames and poorly packed boxes, all that I have learned is that it is best to leave it to the professionals.
I am about to move for the eighth time in seven years and, if I actually owned enough furniture to justify assistance with the move, I would be calling Two Marines and a Truck. With Veterans Day around the corner, this is the perfect time to shed some light on owner and retired Marine, Nick Baucom and the respectable moving company he has single handedly built.  Two Marines and a Truck was founded on November 10th, 2008; coincidentally the same day as the Marine Corps was founded in 1775.  Nick, originally from Memphis, Tennessee, served six honorable years in the Marines, including a deployment to Iraq as an infantryman during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Upon his return from active duty, Nick focused on how best to use his leadership, management, and interpersonal skills in the “real world”.  He has always been an entrepreneur at heart; at the age of fifteen he ran his own lawn business and four employees!  After organizing countless moves for his family and friends, a business was born.
Nick runs a customer-service focused business first.  He and his moving professionals are prepared to assist you with all of your moving needs.  They provide service for local, long distance, office, and commercial moves, in addition to labor-only service.  The company currently has thirty-five employees and is growing every day.  Broken down, the employees at Two Marines and a Truck are sixty percent Marines, twenty percent Army, and twenty percent civilian.  Like our armed forces, Nick hires and retains only “the best of the best”.  Each of the moving professionals undergoes an initial background check and receives ongoing feedback on their performance to ensure you only get the strongest and safest movers.  Once selected to join the team, realistic classroom training is provided to ensure each employee understands the precautions that must be taken to safely and efficiently move your most valued possessions.
Two Marines and a Truck is not the moving company with whom you are used to working; there are obvious benefits to working with Nick and his crew.  They understand the importance of punctuality, communication, professionalism, and proficiency.  You can expect a call the day before your move to confirm all details, then a team leader is assigned to your “mission” and assists you each step of the way.  After unsuccessful moves in the past, Nick knows the frustration associated with waiting for the moving crew to arrive.  That is why Two Marines and a Truck promises a one hour time block for when the crew will arrive. This means you can spend your day doing something other than watching the clock!
Two Marines and a Truck is motivated to live up to the title, "World's Finest Moving Company", and are dedicated to providing the best service possible.  In addition to launching a successful company in spite of this distressed economy, Nick has created a community for military members returning to the “real world” from active duty.  He helps individuals find their place in an unfamiliar work force, and provides an environment that compliments the military skill set and experience. Over eighty percent of Two Marines and a Truck were once trusted to protect and defend our country, now you can trust them to move your most prized possessions!
